(3) Production of a desulfurization absorbent. Limestone is ground to 200-325 mesh instead of raw lime or slaked lime. It is mixed with water in the absorption tower to form a slurry. The absorption slurry is mixed with the flue gas. The sulfur dioxide in the flue gas is mixed with the calcium carbonate in the slurry and the air entrained. The chemical reaction is removed and the final reaction product is gypsum. The flue gas after desulfurization is heated and heated to be discharged into the chimney. The process equipment is mature, the desulfurization efficiency is high, and the application range is wide.
(4) Used as a filler in production processes such as plastics and coatings. The natural calcium carbonate minerals used as raw materials for this kind of products, that is, limestone, require CaCO3 (dry basis): 9810% of superior grades, 96.10% of first grade products, 94.10% of second grade products, Fe2O3 ≤ 0.11 %, Mn ≤ 0.102%, Cu ≤0.1001%, whiteness above 90.
